Sanaathana Saaradaa — 26 : Conclusion
05—01—2018; Friday.Sanaatana Saaradaa~26.
Conclusion of continuous practice of Devotional Quartet, viz., the Divine
1) Name;
2) Form;
3) Qualities; &
4) Exploits.
Now, with this part, we are coming to the closure of our topic, that can be titled as above.
Those devotional seekers of spirituality, who are fortunate enough in having taken birth into such ardently devotional families wherein all these four constituents are inherent, find this entire discussion as something like what fish feel about a discourse on swimming. Of course, all such blessed souls are fully well-acquainted with the “how-aspect” of this theme. But, at least a few of them, if not many or all of them, may like to understand the “why and what-aspect” of these most ancient and time-tested practices of all the sages and the saints of various religious cultures of human world. Typically, our generation is bound to learn all these logical and reasonable aspects in order to help our progeny not only to inherit this hoary tradition from us thoroughly rationalistically, but also to enable our progeny’s bequest a fool-proof one in every respect. This obviously makes the process of the flow of this wisdom from generation to generation, simple, smooth, spontaneous, sane and sagacious. Keeping all these things in consideration, the current theme is conceived and presented.
At this point, I wish to quote a wonderful verse from Bhaagavata Canto-X, Chapter-31, verse-9, which is as under:–
“Tava kathaamritam tapta jeevanam
Kavibhireeditam kalmashaapaham |
Sravana mangalam Sreemadaatatam
Bhuvi grinanti ye bhooridaa janaah” ||
“For those, whose lives are scorched with the three types of woes of birth(taapa traya), Your story(which describe the Glories of Your Divine Name, Form, Qualities and Exploits) is the source of Your Devotional Nectar. All Great Sage-Poets(like Naarada, Vyaasa, Sri Sukadeva and so on), recite such an ambrosial story that dispels all short-comings (of all devotees to help them deserve Your Grace). Your Story is the source of all celebration and accomplishment. Those who dedicate their life to sing Your story are extraordinarily blessed ones”.
The above verse totally sums up our topic as vindicated by Bhaagavata Mahaa Puraana.
I can not thank you all, enough, for having chosen to travel with me all along this pilgrimage which you might have found interesting and purposeful.
With this episode, our “Sanaatana Saaradaa” completes six-month-period. This feature is going to be merged with “Aarsha Saaradaa”, as both of them imply the same theme.
But “Aarsha Saaradaa” is without any specific periodicity. So, on Fridays, no item will be there any longer.
“సాహిత్యము—సౌహిత్యము”, on Saturdays, & “శారదా సంతతి”, on Sundays, go on greeting you, during early morning, as usual.
