THEOSONICS – Dynamics of Divine Name – Part 3

As we already observed in the earlier parts of this series, the Name(Naama), the Form(Rupa), the Qualities(Gunas) and the Exploits(Leelas) are of everlasting sublime order as they belong to the Qualified Absolute Reality. Whether of the Ultimate Source or of the Incarnation of the Supreme Godhead, all these four Divine Components of Name, Form, Qualities and Exploits are of same edifying and ennobling efficacy, absolutely.

As they belong to the Absolute, they invariably inhere in the Absolute, and as such they are all individually and/or collectively capable of owning and manifesting all the sublimity of the Absolute or the chosen Deity, Ishta Daiva, in our devotional context.

In almost every major religion of the world, Chanting of the Divine Name either mentally or silently is a source of constant companionship for the seeker of spirituality, with his own beloved Deity. When the devotee continuously keeps on chanting the Name, such a chanting can take place with the help of respiration only. So, by this all-purifying chanting of the Name with the participation of respiration or inhaling and exhaling of “praana“, the practice of regulating our breath that is called “praanaayaama” takes place on its own, physically.

If this chanting of the Name is done mentally, this regulation and control of breath happens on a subtler plane. So, with this the biological and respiratory purification-process goes on continuously.

Generally a religious seeker encounters a number of doubts in his ‘ spiritual journey’. These write-ups will definetely help him ‘travel’ in Bhakti Marga. The relation between Pranayamma and Chanting of Divine Name is very absorbing
